It’s a Family Affair: Family was most important growing up. Larry grew up on the same block with his cousins, aunts and uncles on his mother’s side. Larry will tell you that each and every member of the family was made to feel special.
““There’s nothing more important in my life than family.” Larry and his wife Marian have 4 children: Melissa, Laura, Karen and Timothy. They also have 6 grandchildren: Shane, Evan, Quinn ,Tommy, Emma and Ryan. Marian is a graduate of D’Youville college and received her Master’s from SUNY Buffalo. She taught elementary school until she retired. Larry and Marian spend a great deal of time with their children and grandchildren and love every minute.
Larry and Marian take great pride in the personal and professional achievements of their children.
Melissa: Early in her career, Melissa worked with Steven Spielberg and George Lucas creating video games for them. Later as a website designer she won awards for the District of Columbia, United Nations and for Charles Prince of Wales. Now she is a special education teacher in Loudoun County Va., specializing in autistic children. Melissa lives in Leesburg, Virginia and has two sons.
Karen: Karen began her career working for a number of advertising agencies. After a period of time she was recruited by a very prestigious law firm as the Director of Business Development. Since 2003, she has gone back in to advertising and now acts as Director of Agency Services with Wynne Creative Group in Buffalo, NY. Karen lives in Clarence, NY and has 2 sons.
Laura: Laura always had an interest in science. Working in a pharmacy department in high school and college reinforced her desire to pursue medicine as a career. Laura graduated medical school with honors, was named chief medical resident and resident of the year at her hospital. She received a fellowship to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and studied under a world renowned headache specialist. Laura began her practice in Lehigh Valley, Pa. She now is a Primary Care physician with the VA Western New York Healthcare System. She and her husband, a member of the US military, live in Clarence, NY.
Timothy: Tim left college after 9/11 and joined the United States Army. He did two tours of duty in Iraq, and was involved in multiple IED attacks. Tim is a highly decorated combat veteran. Following his discharge from the Army, Tim resumed his college career. Currently Tim is the Supervisor of the DAV National Service Office in Buffalo, NY where he continues fulfilling our promises to the men and women who served. Tim and his wife have two children and reside in Amherst, NY.
