Matt is a proud father of two young sons and a devoted husband. He understands the importance of spending quality time with his family. “I experienced what quality time was all about growing up. My parents taught me by example. They also taught me what real relationships are all about regardless if the relationship is family, friendship or business.”
Matt’s dad, William, started teaching him to play golf at the ripe old age of 6. “Me and dad spent countless hours on the golf course over the years. My dad did the teaching and coaching while I did the learning.” Matt got very good at golf and he loves the game. If you ask Matt about his success he’ll always credit his dad.
During Matt’s high school years, he was a scratch handicap and now has a handicap of four or five. In high school, he was an accomplished golfer playing in tournaments that led to his team winning three sectional titles and one state title. “My dad and golf have taught me that to be good in anything you do you have to be willing to go to great lengths to be successful. I believe the same thing is true for clients and I do.” ~Matthew Wilkinson
